John Denny Hired As Quincy Superintendent

(QUINCY) – Quincy Community Schools has found their new Superintendent.

Wednesday night, the Quincy Board of Education choose John Denny for the position of Superintendent.

Denny previously was the Superintendent of Hanover-Horton Schools for twelve years. During his time with the District, he helped them pass two bond proposals to do upgrades to facilities.

Denny also worked in the Eaton Rapids, Hudson, Leslie and Napoleon School Districts as a teacher, assistant principal, coach and principal.

Contract negotiations are underway between the School Board and Denny, who is expected to take over on July 1.

Current Quincy Superintendent Marc Kramer announced in April that he would be retiring June 30.
