Joe Peters -The Steuben County Festival Choir presents George Frideric Handel's 12/11/24

Joe Peters, Founder and current Director of The Steuben County Festival Choir, joins WLKI's Andy St. John. Joe is preparing to conduct The Steuben County Festival Choir, accompanied by Fort Wayne Philharmonic members, who will perform George Frideric Handel's "Messiah".

Sunday, December 15, at 2:30 pm in The Ryan Concert Hall of The T. Furth Center For Performing Arts, Angola.

Proceeds will benefit The Steuben County Humanities Fund, awarding grants to students of the arts.

Composed in 1741 by George Frideric Handel, “Messiah” is a time-honored Christmas tradition around the world, and still remains the most performed piece of music in the Classical repertoire.
