Join Tabitha Griva, Events and Marketing Coordinator for Angola Parks and Recreation, and Andy St. John on WLKI 100.3 as they kick off a milestone season. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the department, and the celebration is going strong with a jam-packed week of community events.
Tabitha shares details on:
- The Firefly Tour: A free performance by the Fort Wayne Ballet at Commons Park this Thursday at 7 p.m., featuring food from Beached Boys Grill.
- Music in the Park: The Hubie Ashcraft Band takes the stage Friday night. The fun begins at 6 p.m. with classic cars from North Wayne Cruise In, bounce houses, and concessions from Shiggs & Pit, Mad Anthony Brewing, and Kona Ice.
- Summer Recreation: An update on the Summer Rec program, including an introduction to the new program director, Ava, and how to get registered before spots fill up.
