(INDIANAPOLIS) - Middle and high school students interested in seeing state government up close can now apply for Indiana's 2026 Senate Page Program.
The full-day experience is open to students in grades 6 through 12 and gives young people a behind-the-scenes look at how laws are made. Pages tour the Indiana Statehouse, sit in on live Senate debates, assist staff with simple tasks, and even meet their state senator. The program runs January through the end of the legislative session, with page days scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Groups participate on Wednesdays. Each day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Students are allowed to serve once per session and receive an excused absence from school for participating. Officials encourage families to apply early, as spots fill quickly.
Applications are tied to the specific day a student wishes to page. After applying, the Senate Page Office will confirm the date and provide the necessary paperwork.
More details and online applications are available at IndianaSenateRepublicans.com/Page-Program.
